Normal offerings include two weekly opportunities to worship on Sunday mornings at 9 & 11am
Our 9am worship located in our Discipleship building is done in a contemporary style but with some variety—you will hear praise songs familiar from the radio, bluegrass arrangements, and adaptations of relevant pop songs, as well as classic hymns sung in a praise and worship style. We take communion by intinction, meaning we walk to the table and break a piece of bread and dip it in a common cup. We practice open communion at all services, meaning everyone is welcome to partake (We believe it is God’s table and not our own.) The same sermon is preached in both services. The service lasts one hour. Childcare is available for infants through pre-school aged children.
Our 11am worship is located in our Sanctuary and offers a vibrant traditional worship experience. We sing traditional hymns and have a full choir. Throughout the year this worship will feature guest musicians. In years past we have welcomed celebrated Dallas musicians such as violinist Hayden Oliver and DFW Brass Ensemble. The sermon reflects on scripture in relevant ways in order to teach God’s love and mercy. We serve communion by passing around trays. We practice open communion at all services, meaning everyone is welcome to partake (We believe it is God’s table and not our own.) The service lasts one hour. Children four years old to second grade attend Children’s Worship, where they have interactive worship and are encouraged to wonder who God is through Bible stories. Childcare is available for infants through 3 years of age.
You may wonder what sort of dress is appropriate, but we care less about what you are wearing and more about who you are. We welcome people wearing jeans or suits, dresses or pants, t-shirts or button ups. We welcome you to come as you are.
